Lodge St.George 3072 EC

Lodge St.George 3072 EC was consecrated on Thursday 1st December 1904 and was the brainchild of W Bro. Jonh Charles Mc Queen who performed the ceremony.

The first Master was W Bro.Rev George James Clark-Holman and meetings in the early years were held at the northern wing of the Anglican Church House.

In 1917 Lodge St.George 3072 purchased a building at #1 Hillsborough street in order to facilitate the growing number of members and to have a more comfortable place to hold meetings. This building was used by all the lodges as their meeting place up until 2008 when the temple was relocated to the new premises at Mt.Zion Upper Lucas Street.

Lodge St.George 3072 meets every 1st Friday of the month at 8:00pm. The Installation Ceremony for the new master is conducted in December of each year.

Lodge St.George 3072 is the mother Lodge of Conception Lodge 8346 EC.
